The Pipe and Slippers Run (Boil Rally)

Post by PeterT »

As described on another thread, This is a relaxed 200 mile ride around some of the best Pennine and Lake scenery there is. We'll be stopping frequently for tea, cakes, ice-cream, photos and other assorted excuses.

Last year there were three of us, riding line of sight. If there's three or thirty it makes no difference but with more than 5 or 6 we will use the Drop Off system as described by James in this thread.

Please familiarise yourself just incase.

No need to sign up here, just turn up and join on. Feel free to ask questions though.

Here's a googlemap of the route.

Maybe next year eh :)

There are a couple of overlaps between the two but mostly I won't be doing the "falling off into water" thing :P But seriously, you'll love James' ride. Wrynose/Hardknott is a good one to tick off, enjoy. ;)

Had an outstanding ride out today with a magnificent seven. We just seemed to stay one step ahead of (or behind)what little rain there was.

Tea, Bacon Buttie, Ice-cream, Soup, Tea, Cake.

Hope some of you manage to get some pics up here.
