i thought the weather wasnt too bad, it was loads worse at home on the south coast my mrs said theyve had hail, torrential rain and frosts all weekend, and the worst weather on the whole ride home was from newbury all the way home. nothing like arriving home soaked is there?
that'll teach her to like camping, but then if she did i wouldnt like it

I'd also like to add my thanks to Paul/Maria for hosting, Jessie and her helpers for a superb curry and James and BigDave for leading the rides through the Lakes (I tagged on with BD half way through the day...) I really enjoyed the food and riding. Met some great people too.

Good luck to the Korean chap (sorry, I never caught your name) on his ride home and especially getting the Russian visa. If you're behind schedule, I might see you en route. Look out for the black/rat Transalp.

I left on Saturday evening so that I could get a reasonably night's sleep. Next time, I'll look out for the Landy and camp as far as possible from it.

cheers
Chris

This was our first rally, and I have to say that it was everything and more
the site was great, thanks to Paul & Maria, and the curry, WOW thank you Jessie.

I have to thank Steve and Tommy For taking Claire and I for a ride out on the friday to the seaside for fish and chips :cheer:
Even though we lost bongo on the way back for a while it was still a great day out

Cheers again Guys
and bongo you are a legend

We have met some great new friends and are really looking forward to the next one
