Probably not but is there a "play pit" where you can go and have some fun locally?

Pack the bike 2moro ready for an early start Fri morning. Can't wait. Just wait to see what the weather brings to decide on leather or cordura. No matter how much I camp i still look forward to it like a child at Christmas.
c'mon.:)

Your location on the map is Hartley Quarry, definately a no-go unless you want to be chased by a forty something tonne digger. If you continue up the road a mile or two more you will get to the fell gate to nine-standards, not sure on the status but you could check it out.

My luggage is packed and on bike, both bikes serviced, Fiona's luggage is ready to put on, so ready to roll!
One day of work to go! Bring it on!
According to Largewayround and SteveT we should be down there around 4.00, find beer and provisions for the weekend then settle down for the night!
See you all there!

Excited Nervous .. butterflies .. Same as usual for me ..

I was just thinking about the rally just now and the efforts that Paul & Maria have gone to accommodate us for the weekend.. 3 Cheers

My thoughts wander to the campsite after we leave ........

In all my upbringing I was taught about when camping , "Always leave the camp clean and tidy" .

Iam talking rubbish (not for the first time) LoL and most likely talking to the tidiest campers ever.. if so sorry.

So please everyone make an effort to keep the campsite tidy and rubbish free.

Iam sure that Paul has wheely bins , and maybe recycling , bottles etc .(Maybe Paul can confirm).

Lets all make this opening weekend of Takoda Camping a roaring success.

Thanks for the thought Largewayround, I have recycling bins and like you I am excited but nervous, I hope the site meets everyones expectations.
We have a reasonably good weather forcast, dry but a tad cooler than last weekend. We have cut the grass, topped up the toilet rolls and turned the boiler on, all systems go.

Davasto and Rich turned up this afternoon and looking at the size of their tents, I don't think anybody else needs to bring one.
They had a good run, six hours from the very bottom of the country.

See you all tommorow!
