I'm definately in the "informal" camp.

Just sitting in different groups and swapping tales is as good as any organised talks.

As I had the missus on pillion I opted out of an organised ride and just had a 100 mile bimble about, something for everyone.

Hope Jesse will be available to cook another top curry next year. :woohoo:

But, whatever Paul & Maria propose is fine with me. ;)

Just two simple requests, a heated garage please, the seat of my bike was a trifle

on Sunday morning. Oh, and a fridge for the loo rolls if you're having another curry night please. Everything else, absolutely perfect!

I agree with the informal feel of the weekend. If it gets too organised, people expect things laid on which means a lot of work for a committee and all the work gets done by a handful of people as no-one else really knows what's going on.

A list on a notice board at the the site would be good with details of who and what each ride is about. Again, if that gets too organised you can get into the realms of club insurance/membership etc for covering an organised ride out.

I'm not keen on open fires with alcohol, I like my tent without holes and smoke damage thanks.

Apart from that, the campsite was ace and I loved having time to wander around meeting people. Maybe we should have name badges so we know who we have been insulting for the past 6 months.

At present we're a loose band of people with similar interests who support what the others do, for fun. I'm sure if someone has something interesting to do they'll speak up so we can all join in.

Paul and Maria did a great job letting us invade their pride and joy, I missed the curry but will save myself next time.

Do it again pretty much the same. :)

This should read, 'We ride, we camp, we drink'

I'm all for the informal approach as we've proved it works. Yes to ride out lists.

The curry night should be part of the boil event.

A big NO to making it commercial, this will ruin the event.

My 2p worth.

All good feedback is welcome, and thats all that we have had.

In a nutshell!

Keep it informal
Nobody will volunteer to talk so I guess thats out.
Keep Jesse's curry ( I would like to keep supporting the Orphans)
A three or four day (long weekend) rally would be better
Fire pits
More people now we have a feel for numbers on site
Maybe pay up front, as Mick said it's not going to break the bank at £6 per night.
A bit more organisation with rideouts, boil etc. White-board in the building maybe!
Beer as raffle prizes.
A mass welcome from Me, Maria and Alun to break the ice and set the stall.

Thats all easily do-able, roll on 2012.

Sounds good to me!

Any how, regarding fire, one location for the pyromaniacs, here's the pic of the one in Oban, a great idea, covered for weather as you can see the rain in my pic!

Pay up front is a must.

Id put the notice board outside on the wall so its easy to see and you wont have my muddy boot prints to clean up then.

For the ride outs how about a list of all the tea stops on the route so if anybody gets left behind they can just make there way to the next rest area and rejoin the group.

That wouldn't be possible with Mick leading, as he didn't allow tea breaks until we were broken men.
