Hello & thanks for the welcome.
I'd like to join the ride outs, Mud & Blacktop.
I live local & probably won't be camping this time.
Hopefully once i've "read the threads" I'll get up to speed with what's going on & when, so I can join in.

Hello Chris,
New boy here & live local so probably won't camp this time.
Put me down for all the off road rides. I'll probably use a Small Traily.
Hope you'll post a definate first day meet time & place so I can be there.
Thank you for your organising efforts. Hope we get a good turn out & have some fun.
Do appreciate your points regarding other users.
I ride with Bob Drane over in Essex.
He has spent 60 years keeping all the BOATs open in that county & we regularly ride 90 miles all off road.
If you look @ a Herts explorer map there's hardly any BOATS left.
Looking forward to meeting you.
Brian.

I know what you mean but it's not quite that bad!

If you include Unclassified County roads (aka UCRs/ORPAs/white Roads) there are about 150 vehicular rights of way in Herts (I know as i've ridden or driven 125 of them to date), and only 10 have TROs.

Compare that to only 22 in Central Beds (where the campsite is) and 12 of those are TRO'ed

the later 3 all now the area well...I will have a Route supplied by Mad Cow and we hope to do it in Reverse so as not to clash apart from the "middle"

Here is a list of people down to do the rides and exprience and tyres shown-

Tramp -leader
Mad Cow- leader
Matt- leader
Oille- leader

Tramps group unless you`d rather ride with someone else  is as follows

Husabang
Simplyexploring
Knobbly
Davies
AndyH

thats 6 my max ...

I`m sure Mad Cow will maybe put together his own group either on here on the Friday night and Mudwiz`s stand Replacements will cover the rest be it "newbys to trails" or road tyres gang..

If anyone has a preference to who they ride with please say...

This is not meant to sound "big brother" just clarifying things as I would hate people to travel and not have fun as thats what this weekend is about..

Hi

Just wanted to confirm I'm down to ride on Saturday? It'll be my first time taking the XT600 off road but done plenty of enduro's on my KTM so I guess I'd like to give the 'hard'route a go!

Any advice on tyres? I have currently got very work Avon Distanzia's. Would a new set of these be OK for what you've got in store or should I go for something like M21's?

Cheers
