Just a few snaps

Post by f2uk »

Well finally got round to going through the images I took.

There are a few good ones, some not so good .... and some that we should just not talk about.

Rather than eat up all of the ABR bandwidth and storage space the pics are on my flickr account here.

Hopefully the link will work ... I'm sure someone will tell me if it doesn't. :S

Enjoy, and if you are feeling up to it leave a few comments or at least put some names to faces I have a lousy memory!

Had a great time at the do. Got there Thursday, nice little 400 miler, to be met by two other tents and a lot of wind.
Nice easy day Friday, a wander around Ullapool (didn't take long) and then greet a few more and help out where required.
Saturday brought a ride out, after the main ones left, Lairg, Tongue, Durness, Scourie, Drumbeg, Lochinver (via the back road) and then back to site. Nice easy 200 miler.
Met some great people, hopefully made a few new friends.
Sunday brought another windy day but thankfully the rain held off long enough for the pack up. A bit of rain on the way back, made a change from just the wind! :silly:

Still back home safe and another 1000 miles added to the bike (well almost)

Looking forward to the next one, whenever that may be.

Cheers,

Richard

There you go, does that make it easier?? ;)

Mate some great photos, I unfortunately attend as I had work.
I did notice a bit of a theme in the fact all these ppl using Tarps / Basha seem to be getting bigger by the photo!!

1 of the tarps was so big if I didn't know better I would of thought it was a WW1 Ridge Tent!

I take it all of the ppl ho went didnt to the Go slow on Sunday

Many thanks for sharing.

Tent and Tarp is obviously the way to go.

The panoramas are cracking.

I can't speak for everyone but considering the conditions my brother and myself were riding back through we did not participate in the 'go slow'

Fantastic Pics, make me wish I went now!

Scotland is a must-do next year! It's on the list and pics like that persuade me even more :D
