Comforting to know this wouldn't be the Mag / Forum I'd signed up for if the replies had been any different !:)

My first 'adventure' bike was an NS125R!
Throw over panniers, rucksack over the tank, tent on the back and four days in the lakes when I was 19.

Doesn't have to be offroad to be an adventure!

Big Bill - Look left of this text for what I'll be taking :)

Looks like an old CBR1000F?

Great old buses! Height of comfort and pretty quick too. A true mile muncher!

Cheers, Jim :)

Correct, and agreed on all counts! I love the thing.

(Except for me personally, this one's not that old! Had it 3 or 4 months and 3 or 4k miles (Total now about 22K)

Sadly, valve service and new tyres this week will probably preclude me from any Scots gathering occuring before the end of this month :( Will be at Ullapool though :)
