Wales Rally Big Bike Trails

Post by beddowsm »

Great weekend down in South Wales. Thanks to all that organised it. Shame there were no showers, but people opted for different methods.....some didnt bother, some used wet wipes, some found alternate water sources (Andy H I believe...vid below)

Some decided water wasnt the best option and decided to roll about in the mud (MinkeyHead)

And after my wet wipe bath in my tent I crawled out to find Harty rubbing wet hay on himself. Beats wet wipes he said!

Will update this thread with details of the big bike trails in due course, have lots of vids and pics.

Thanks to Scrambled Eggs for leading the way!

So the ride leader was Scrambled Eggs....and he didnt inspire confidence by turning up to lead the BIG bike trail ride on a KTM 250 EXC! But he took us to some fantastic lanes. There were about 11 riders on various BIG bikes (sorry, dont know everyones names).

First was the Sarn Helen. A fantastic trail that led to a rocky decent to a ford.

Think this is AndyH...did you spend any time on your bike?

This is MinkyHead down...also, did you spend any time on your bike?

Great stuff beddows - next year maybe I'll shut the shop and come too, except I think Big Pete totally destroyed our demo TE630....

You'll have to fight Plumby for it!
