Wales Meet...let's have one ?

Post by dragonwheels »

If anyone wants a venue for an ABR meet in Wales, we have rough camping land, can lay on extra loo's and give up a room for presentations etc - (we're happy to help source speakers and presenters) Plus we can do guided ride-outs on and off road for Adventure bikes. Anyone fancy taking up the baton?

I'd rather someone else head-up any event, not to be accused of rank commercialism...we got the venue if you got the gumption. Right at the edge of the Brecon Beacons

Thoughts?

Great suggestion Dragonwheels and I'm 100% behind having an ABR Rally down in Gods country but the ABR Rally rules on keeping ABR events non commercial would mean that it would have to take place in a field in the Beacons rather than in Touratechs back yard in an industrial estate to get a full ABR endorsement.

The format is simple;
Arrive Friday leave Sunday
The only expense is the one that the camp site owner charges for a tent.
Ride outs organised by local volunteers for the Saturday which include the option of a road trip and/or a tour of the green lanes in the area.

Up for it?

I have the very place in mind - field at rear of REAL ALE pub, edge of beacons - 5 miles from TT HQ - is that far enough?

What next - set a date?
