Thanks for hosting this one Mark.
Shame that I was only able to join you for the Saturday night but I didn't mind roughing it in the hotel for the evening. Was good to meet up with all and meet some new faces.

Got it running again by draining the float chamber. unbelievable how much mud had got sucked in. I shall always carry a 14mm spanner for this purpose from now on! However, exhaust is very smokey - which is wasn't before I treated the bike like a submarine. Hope I haven't damaged piston rings or something. Other than that, I absolutely love the bike. Cheers

Hi Jon..

mine smoked for a few days its just the water evaporating :woohoo: ..

but warm the engine up then let it cool down overnight and then check the oil by dip stick..if its frothy like a whipped coffee you`ll need to do [2] oil changes and oil filter changes..change until no more frothy coffee..also change the airfilter and clean the air box out..

the transalps have a drain hole in the exhaust...think mr Honda new what we`d do with them :laugh: :laugh:
