Thanks for a great weekend guys--why oh why can't people get off their backsides and come along after the effort to organise things?

A small, but very select band enjoyed a bit of a hike to the pub on Friday night--the walk back nearly killed me ! A great bimble around the local lanes on saturday with stops at two biker haunts, and a BBQ in a barn on saturday night. It rained a bit on Saturday night but that was about it. Good facilities and a friendly farmer--and acres to ourselves.

Just a couple of phots

the few events i have organised you have to accept there will be a third drop out.

now i don't count until the rally has ended.

it makes it hard to organise any food etc.

john p,s, next event i am going to get off the ground is the ECKY THUMP in october

I had a great weekend, thanks to the other nine bikes for making the effort, I'm taking a bottle of oxygen next year to help Cris get back from the pub up that hill, thought I might have to give the kiss of life to a bloke with a beard on Friday night luckily he made it up in the end !
Nice to meet some new faces, ( I'll never remember the names), look forward to next year.
Tim

Would have loved to come but, despite putting my name down to come and reminding that I had put my name down, I was never added to the list of attendees... ;)

The real reason was because I was away testing the new Yamaha S10 (Super Tenere XT1200Z ES) with Nathan Millward for the next ABR mag....

maybe next time. (thumbs)

Hi Rob' sorry you could not make, sounds like you were on a bit of a jolly
any way. As for not being added to the list, I think Gog007 had some family
issues and got side tracked. You would have been made welcome anyway.
Hopefully will be back next year.
Cheers Jed
