You have several options for staying at the rally

Camping (tent) or hammock in the wood - £10 pppn Fri and Sat (50% off Thurs and Sun)

Bunkhouse - £20 pppn Fri and Sat (50% off Thurs and Sun)
4/5 person room
9 person room
10 person room with en suite

Electrical hookups for motor homes and caravans - £22 per couple per night (50% off Thurs and Sun)

So for £25 you can have three nights in your tent or hammock, talk borrox round the camp fire, have a ride out, plus whatever else we organise between now and then depending on what you lot tell us!
Just as a comparison, 6 of us stayed in a bunkhouse in the lakes 2 weeks ago which was attached to a pub and paid £10pppn.

Sounds like a good place

During my long chat with Danny the subject of charging for this came up. He has run many events and has had good and bad experiences. He discussed options for what he could put on including food nights for Friday and Saturday and entertainment. But we couldn't set a price until we knew what folks want.

We've added a couple of quid per night to cover him buying in wood for the fire as I know ABR'ers like a good chit chat and chunter talking borrox round an open fire.

We can add food nights if there is enough demand. Danny runs a business and he's helping us out at short notice to have a rally. I don't want him out of pocket.

We both agreed that for people turning up on bikes costing several £k to quibble over a few extra quid is taking the p*ss.

I think the price is fair. If people don't like it they don't have to come.

Ride easy

Mods - can this be moved to the ABR events and rallies section?

This wasn't an option for me when I created the topic

Thanks

Have checked my calendar, and found that I have booked leave for the previous weekend, so will not be able to attend on 7 - 10 May.

You obviously weren't coming to the Boil then!

Hi, please add me 1 tent, 1 bike. If I'm still between jobs I'll probably come Thursday to Monday morning if that's okay?
I got a motorbike for my wife...

Best swap I ever made.

It now has it's own header in the ABR rally section.
I've moved this thread. (thumbs)
