Private messages

What do you guys and moderators think ? I come on here and unless I am expecting a private message I forget to look and the is no notification . I have in the past not noticed messages for a week or more. Is it possible to change the site so like on ADVrider or Facebook ect you see some sort of notification that you have a PM ?

But isn't that even worse that you need to login to 2 places to know something ?

at least I know and I check my email regular, or you could just click on PM when you first hit the site :whistle:

never really worries me as I don't have many friends who would want to contact me in any case :whistle:

This is the only forum i've used that doesn't flag up PM's.... i've missed them myself and only noticed a PM when i hit 'private messages'. Sometimes they've been weeks old.

But posters have moaned about this issue on this forum for as long as i can remember. Nothing is ever done, so i doubt it ever will.

I've just looked and I have one from SimonW from 7th Sept that I didn't know I had.
