Again,private message notification??

Is it so hard to make a notification bling/blong red thing in the right corner,next to private messages,when we got mail ? To catch our eyes when we visit this site?
I had a PM on the 24th of March,that's 2weeks ago.Today I received an e-mail to let me know I received a PM.

I had a list of notification emails from ABR this morning for all thats happened over the last two weeks!

Yep me too Bob got a load of old pm resent to me even though id deleted them....makes you wonder how safe they are..as if youve deleted the recieved messages you cant acess them so surely the forum should not resend them again....

Piss poor. ...hum hum hum...

Me to i had 12 notifications in one go this morning all of which i had already read,some of these were weeks old.its no real worry ,just saying thats all.
Maybe just changing the colour of the little arrow next to the messages when you have a new one,just a though.
