Every winter the Southern Right whales comes to Walkerbay, Hermanus, to breed and calf
The whales are on their way and the whale season is starting

It is. We were lucky enough to be there in August 2010, and saw them just off the coast at Sedgefield.

South Africa, not Co Durham.

That was a trip I won't forget in a hurry.
