I used to ride the B2146 in the opposite direction because of the hill at the start. Interested to hear how it flows the other way around. (thumbs)

hi lads,
first chance to get back to you, thank you so much for suggestions, weather was perfect, so the roads and loomies :)
I took the suggested road + return through downs road to get to b2146 and from there made my way to a29. was playing with the bike from about 10 morning brought it back at about half four so pretty long day. bike is really powerful but i did not liked loads of stuff on it, like: traction control decides when you get the power - and yes, it can be switched off but you dont do that every time you pull off some country lanes with gravel on. some weird noises, loads of vibrations through pegs, and electronic damping - whilst nice, found out hard way that when brakes are activated front wont dive even in the bend while hitting massive pothole

over all, pretty nice day out with amazing empty roads, fantastic countryside -definstelly return with my NOW UNDERPOWERED 800 gs :). got only one pic from front of the house as while my drift cam strapped to swing arm decided to take different route than me, so if you take the routes you maybe lucky to find it somewhere :)
cheers!

Glad you had a good time, when are you going to stick up some pictures of your new bike!? When did you get rid of the 650?

Sorry to hear you came off, how did you manage that?

New bike looks great, but it is the wrong flavour of orange ;)

van knocked me off, he took the turn without looking/indicating. i know, bmw used premium shiny metallic orange for some reason - silly they are, where ktm have that wicked dull orange wall paint.. :silly:

Flippin cagers. I had a close one doing the same thing a couple years ago my wheels went under the back of the van. I still don't know how I didn't wreck.. At least you're alive and well.

Metallic paint is so pretentious.. I like my quiet, understated wall paint. It's much more sensible

We must go and get your new bike muddy once I'm back on my feet properly!

either tourances but more likely k60 which i found on 650 pretty capable tyre both on tarmac or lanes.
