Map and compass work reliably. Always a good option to have in case of a power failure. :laugh:

I would never go away and just rely on a satnav.On my way to Amsterdam for the ferry last week my satnav decided to go tits up.I did manage to reset it eventually but if I hadn't and I didn't have maps with me I would probably have missed the ferry running around in circles.
