PDVUG Open Day July 2022

Post by Hugh »

Greetings folks,

heads up notice that PDVUG, Peak & District Vehicle User Group, is holding another free information 'Open Afternoon' at the Eyre Arms, next to the traffic lights at Calver, Saturday 23rd July 2022, 12:00-16:00.

As many of you know PDVUG is the respected group of motorcycle & 4X4 clubs formed explicitly at the request of the PDNPA & DCC to represent motorists at ROW consultation meetings.

Please feel free to drop in and ask YOUR questions about Rights Of Way issues; how to view and understand DCC's online Mapping Portal website; we will be demonstrating GLASS' TrailWise2 and we can guide you with your map reading questions - basically your fact finding solution as to how and where you can access legal routes throughout the Peak District and beyond.

Meet some of the Team that fights for your access to the countryside, maybe you could even think about joining the team?

Greetings folks,

The Derbyshire Well Dressing Season 2022 is underway and I know that Stoney Middleton will be commencing their display next Saturday 23rd July.

I should expect that the village will be very busy so please consider walking into The Nook area. There should be plenty of parking spaces at the area top of Jacobs Ladder giving easy onward access to Eyam and Grindleford. It is only a short walk down this famous hillside to the beautiful and unique St Martin's Church, light refreshments are normally available.

Then on to the PDVUG Open Day at The Eyre Arms, Calver.
