Any easy lanes in the Lakes?

Post by Godspeed »

I’m heading up to the Lake District in a few weeks and was just wondering if there were any easy green lanes that I could ride?
Consider:
1) I’ll be on my Honda Innova 125, not my C90 🤪
2) Standard road tyres, though good grip
I’m looking for something like the Fosseway section under Cirencester, that kind of thing.
A couple of pics of the Innova out on easy lanes so you get the idea 👍

deffo not the best park for easy trails but quite afew are now graded you could try most of the coach road from the dockray end the trail is long and very pretty the exit is pretty scetchy but yoiu could always run back to ullwater ...nice bonus you can do the kirkstone pas before the coach road

Know what you mean by sketchy, if it wasn’t for the bike being so light then I’d have really struggled to get down the western end. Thanks for the advice though, it was a great trail 👍

yes that end suffers constantly from rainwater erosion ..there has been a bomb hole 8 feet deep in the past and 600 meter four foot deep erosion chanels
they redid it about two years ago but it looks like mother nature is kicking back again .. you did well to get down it .....
super effort
