West Stafford Ford

Post by boboneleg »

Anybody done this ford on a bike ?

We rode the byway today for the first time but didn't cross the ford. The approach (from the north) was ok but the flow at the south end looked quite fast and it was impossible to gauge the depth.

That doesn’t look like a ford.... more like a river with some track next to it 😮

I don't know it but was going to suggest have a look here for more details but I think you may already know as your map link is the same.

Greetings,

The route is way way off my knowledge area but so far as I can find it is a BOAT and recorded on TW2 as SY7390-01

I could not find any details of previous user comments.

Thank you gentlemen.

Nice find Snaf, i knew I should have looked at his videos :) That's exactly what I wanted to see as he came from the southern end so you could see it wasn't that deep. Jammy bugger had all the gates open as well, we had to open and close them all (twice) as there were cattle in the field.

Right, I'm going to go back there soon as I can

We did do this one later in the day ............
