I loved this quote
"Similarly, the officers concluded
that there was no actual evidence of artistic inspiration being reduced or stifled by the
presence of recreational vehicles on the roads, and little evidence of impact upon
literary associations."
Good to see the TRF as an interested party...I might even consider rejoining...
On a more serious note, this judgement pretty much demolishes all the arguments used for TROs in the Peak District and other National Parks over the years. I think our friend Patsy Stubbs has just shot herself in the foot.
Hilarious!
I can't wait for the next edition of the GLEAM factsheet.
"How we wasted our supporters' money on a spiteful and futile legal action."

Here's a link to their crowdfunding page.
https://www.crowdjustice.com/case/green ... al-action/
Not sure how it works, but if you make a small donation, ie 1p,, would it cost them more than the donation is worth? You could leave a funny comment, too.
Their solicitors are Irwin Mitchell, who also offer themselves as 'biking solicitors'...perhaps we should not use them should we need a lawyer in the future.

Re: Peaks to Lakes
A seemingly very exhaustive set of considerations mainly forming a rational and balanced outcome..
Wonder how much money was wasted in this tirade of hatred and uncompromising opinion..
Well done LDNPA for maintaining what wasnt the easiest stance...Fair rationale came through in the end...

Greetings,
The fight is not over yet, GLEAM will of course try other tactics, supported by their usual exaggerated claims.
It would not surprise me if a similar restrictive situation to Gatescarth will not be brought in;

Join GLASS, or the TRF, or both, in an effort to fight such attacks on the freedom of recreational motoring.
