Re: Landscape Review
The Government is just like the BBC, they reach a conclusion first, then look for evidence to support it.
These 'consultations' are just a hoop they jump through to give a veneer of fairness to whatever has already been decided for us.
Did anyone have the opportunity to vote against zero carbon and the consequent fuel poverty and constraints on mobility?
Did anyone have the opportunity to vote against the engineered explosion in property prices, and the consequent conversion of the UK citizenry from property-owners to tenants on six-month contracts?
I won't even start on the other issues of the day...just remember: In the future you will own nothing and you will be happy.

Re: Landscape Review
I've noticed more and more, lately, how autocratic things are becoming, ... everything.

By the way, don't think this is nothing to do with you if you never venture off-tarmac.
There are also questions about giving the National Park Authorities powers to ban 'certain classes' of motor vehicle from tarmac roads.
Guess which classes those will be?

Re: Landscape Review
I saw a film of a young woman being arrested in Moscow...for holding up a blank sheet of paper.
It's not that bad here....yet!

Re: Landscape Review
Boris wants us not to even gather, to protest, let alone carry a blank paper with us.

Don't forget, you can respond in 'prose' rather than or as well as, wading through the questions.
Keep it civil, keep it logical.
Please do it today...tomorrow will be too late

Remember, it's not just trail riding...there's a suggestion in there to give power to National Park Authorities to close or restrict ordinary roads too.
And you can bet that 'local residents' (aka rich incoming second-homers) will be asking NPAs to ban those horrid motorbikes (while still clearing up the gardens of their 'little bolt-holes' with two-stroke leaf-blowers because they are too lazy to use a rake).
