It is. It was a bit quiet on New Year’s Day. I went to a couple of meet ups there back in the BCF days, once on the DR175.daveuprite wrote: ↑Thu Jan 06, 2022 5:34 pmIs that Brantome, David? I know 'The Sarge' had one and didn't get on with it. But even while people were complaining about them on-line, used ones were still changing hands for strong money.Brenhden wrote: ↑Thu Jan 06, 2022 3:51 pmConsidering how few were made I wonder how many of them were ever owned by people on this forum...Richard Simpson Mark II wrote: ↑Wed Jan 05, 2022 6:22 pm A fine-looking bike there, but the ownership experience seems to have been 'mixed'.

Re: Winter Riding Pics
I really liked it - it reminded me of my eMTB.... light, agile and ideal for mild/moderate trails. On the road, not so good (as you might expect), at least compared with many other bikes, but better than a 125! It could have done with a re-map to sort out a low-speed flat spot which was a bit annoying around town, particularly in 20mph areas. It was actually my wife's bike but she didn't get on with it - after a 4-cylinder Honda that's perhaps not entirely surprising and underlines the prudence of taking a test ride, but with Bolton being at the other end of the country we took the risk. I kind of wish we'd kept it for me to use for green laning, even though it was the low suspended version. The ownership experience was soured a little, though, with the main fuel tank springing a leak after a couple of weeks - CCM eventually had to come and take it back to the factory and fit a new tank after initially coming all the way to us to simply tighten the tank-to-delivery pipe joint (and swearing the problem was then solved!) Long gone but not forgottenRichard Simpson Mark II wrote: ↑Thu Jan 06, 2022 6:12 pmI know 'The Sarge' had one and didn't get on with it.
