Actually I was praying, Steve - to the God of Greenlaning.

Was that the Tour Blanche randonée last time? Proper wet slimy day that was.
Nah....that was in the woods back of yours. Think same day you had a tree between the forks

See, I don't even know my own back yard. Deffo going senile. Probably all the knocks on the head. Yeah, that branch got right up there didn't it? Funnily enough I'm right now fitting a pair of Meca radiator guards that Nick very kindly gave me. Pig to fit (because my radiators are already distorted from crashes), but I'm nearly there. Is that closing the stable door after the horse has bolted? Anyway I owe him a drink.

Link = Motorcycle named after a famous race, Dakar in this case. Liz spotted something shiny in the water as we passed and as we were stopping for coffee and cake I waded fully ankle deep into the ford and plucked out said shiny thing.

hand grenade on the left barbed wire on the right. WW1 vintage I should imagine, kicked about a bit in a ploughed field and found on The Somme, tempted to clean it up and tie a bit of string to it and the other to my garage door but my memory is not what it was.
