Brings back memories of that weird landscape with a circular horizon and arrow-straight 'drains' often higher than the surrounding land.

I don't remember exactly where it was but it's somewhere south of Florence, between there and Monteriggioni..

It is indeed. Easily the best riding day I've ever had, set off from Glastonbury then up to Betws Y Coed via new bridge cobbling together a couple of ABR routes. Amazing!
