Greetings,

Out on the Pampera, socially distancing with friends, around the southern end of the Peak District yesterday. We met with a really friendly farmer who came over to tell us about the Sturston pole which is used as a goal for the Ashbourne Shrovetide football match, on the other side of the river is an alternative goal post which gets used used if the river gets too deep!

Greetings Richard,

Well, it seemed to be good until 90 minutes after the photos were taken when the side stand snapped and the bike fell over  still nothing damaged :D

My sons bought me some hand guards for Christmas but which I fitted last weekend, glad I did as I got quite a belt off some branches even with the guards. Shorter trials levers fitted, replaced the front brake mechanical switch with one of the inline hydraulic units type, the hole left in the perch was fitted with a screw and locknut to adjust reach. Hand muffs to be fitted over Christmas. My clutch hand still locked but it seemed to happen later so hopefully once the muffs are fitted my hands will stay warm longer.

Next job is to source a replacement stand or find some tubing with which to sleeve repair the old one.

Quite impressed really when it is running, nice power delivery; light weight and good petrol economy although not too sure about kick starting after having gotten used to 'electrickery' button, just need to get used to mixing 2T oil now and gain confidence in reliability. Shall have to keep it separated from the Serow as the Yam might get jealous and start a fight

the stand is a horrible piece of kit...my Pamp is on a motocross stand in the garage at all times.
