Finally got enough miles on the new broomstick to venture off tarmac... only to find it was actually _old_ tarmac 😂 Its a small lane I've never ridden before on the south side of Milton Hill. I've had my eye on it as a safe option for me just now 🙄 as it didnt sound at all technical on tw2. It was very nice to do a bit standing up on the new husky at last. I had a sniff at a lane just north of Brilley just beforehand, but even turning the bike round there wore me out ☚ī¸

Picture of tree I would rather have ridden past on my Beta, but went for a walk instead.

Actually, a significant moment because it's pretty much the first time I've properly used the camera on my new Doogee Didgeridoo. Not bad really. Can't get used to not being able to zoom in and out.

Greetings,

I went out harassing worms today in the Peak District and took this picture of a little wayside shrine up above Buxton and and the Goyt Valley.

I always thought that it had a connection with the Grimshawe family that used to live at Errwood Hall. Two stories, the first that old man Grimshawe converted to Catholicism and the second that the family built the shrine to remember the old lady governess who was of Spanish origin and taught the children. Seems I might of been wrong on both counts as I have just found this link;
