I know that photo. It's a beauty. And to think that the great early C20th expedition photographers like Ponting, and Frank Hurley, used plate cameras, heavy large format kit and hand-crank movie cameras on heavy tripods to capture stunning images at down to minus 50 degrees. And then processed and developed the film themselves in a freezing hut! An amazing achievement.

The book ‘Endurance‘ about Shackleton's Incredible Voyage is a story that everybody should read.daveuprite wrote: ↑Mon Aug 03, 2020 10:25 pm I know that photo. It's a beauty. Open your eyes and you see what is in front of you, open your mind and you see a bigger picture but open your heart and you see a whole new World.
