For anyone riding through Portugal, I’d also suggest this little ride.

It’s not far east of Porto, from Bilhó down to Vila Real on the M313 which is basically a good clean B road.
Twisty little roads up to a lake. Walk around on top and there’s a cafe in the woods. Then there’s a terrific swooping switchback ride down into town.
Short but sweet.
