not far from where the pics above were taken, shit knows how I kept the GS12 up during this little "moment" today came over the brow in the near distance in to full sun glare and in to the slim look carefully you can see the S shaped tracks note the gap between the two, there was another unseen pair before that too. Someone was helping me out there that kinda shit is beyond me. the side of the bike and me was covered with the sideways splatter. Biggest "save" I can remember.

Awww .. sorry I missed you Paul.
Trev was telling us about your bad injuries [ I didn't get the details as I need a hearing aid .. to come tho] but my ears picked up when I heard your name. Sounded really bad. Forgot you now had a crf250Rally.. I got one too, but noisy engine and lack of time and money to fix.
I half recognise your ride pics .. could be anywhere knowing you lol, but looks near the ranges? or towards llandovery? .. or even Druids?
(actually that first one could be over from llandod, facing wbin?.. edit .. or 50 gate lane? ... aw ... i give up !! lol)

Good you are back up and out on the bike.

nice to see ANY bikes outside the cafe ... been deserted in recent months .. but of course it was a bank holiday monday. and the weather wasn't too bad, and roads mostly dry. .... loads of biker groups out on the roads, for a change. ..many nods and waves lol.

old injury clonked back at the end of the summer, much improved now, well getting back to baseline anyway, thanks. Yeh you got it Druids and round about not done it before, tried and bottled it in the snow solo on the GS, speaking to a local shepherd it maybe a one and only run over it, he seemed to think the annual right of way had been curtailed, in all honesty I did'nt know one way or the other but wanted to tick it off. I did a few recee's around and there were no soldiers or security evident over the proceeding days, but you never can tell for sure, but the main "permanent dedicated ranges" were definitely unused. If I need any CRF gen I'll point it your way. That day I stopped in the Owls on the way up and it was rammed 30min wait for a bacon buttie etc, on return I just caught the West End door open and walked over Gaynors freshly mopped floor to catch a last hot chocalate. Just a handfull of the old suspects there, shame really the social side of the cafe (bikewise) is much deminished. Another pic to keep it relevant. The shit job of post trail spin cleaning and finding broken bits under the crap. Did manage to find some challenges on the way back better not post any pics of that sillyness lets just say the ruts were deep and plentifull and I am too old for that especially on the CRF fat bellied girl. Hope your doing OK, happy trails.
