Hi Peter.

Cafe / post office meet - No, we met at the estate notice board shown in one of the pictures. Wasn't to sure of how the cafe/post office would be operating, so we brought our own "stuff" and has a picnic next to the burn.

I try and ride down there at least once a year, normally in the spring before the tourists emerge from their winter hibernation :D . Any time after the end of October and your liekly to get either frost bitten or stuck in snow :shock:

Had another great day out on the Silverwing, beautiful weather again which is strange for Bonnie Scotland..! I met up with a few biker mates for a coffee/chat before noon, then we decided on an eighty mile ride out. The chap who owned the beautiful 1953 BSA 350cc was a new guy introduced to me today, never met him before but boy he could ride that BSA brilliantly.
We stopped off a few places along the way and that BSA is a total bike magnet for folk coming over to him and talking about it.... truly excellent.

Our motorcycle route was;
Doune - Callander - Lochearnhead - St Fillans - Comrie - Braco - Kinbuck - Bridge of Allen and home... Such a fabulous ride out with no dramas.
