I've always wondered at what height above stolen from us byways and green-lanes you'd have to be, to not come under the highways act. My first thoughts were using a paraglider but this looks more promising.

Oh yes, can of worms there I think Snaf. I can imagine there's a whole raft of legislation and litigation ahead as soon as the 'Personal Hoverdrone' becomes available at a retail price. Is it an aircraft? Etc etc....

There might be a brief period in which those with the money and skills to develop one have a hell of a lot of fun, then someone will crash disastrously into a crowd of praying nuns and the authorities and lawyers will have a field day....

(the fun thing would be to return to this thread in 30 years time and see how naive and innocent it sounds)
