Just another day in Cornwall

Found a great video then post it up here. It doesn't have to be about bikes.

I like the SatNav joining in... "Learn how to reverse when possible..."

I have to say there are some very narrow, windy lanes in Cornwall (and whose bright idea was it to put headrests in cars? they're not see-through!)

Still easier to reverse a car down than drive a lorry up, though!

When my children learned to drive a few years ago I started going out with them for practice. It soon became apparent that new drivers are not taught how to reverse, merely how to reverse into a parking space. We subsequently spent some time driving backwards around empty train station car parks to the extent that they are both now very competent at reversing. I'm not sure how this duty fell to me after they shelled out £25/hour or so to their instructors, but suspect it's sadly the norm.

Yes indeed.... I've been impressed with the way lorry drivers handle these lanes - even the car seemed to be touching both sides at once!

Autonomous vehicles on Cornish lanes...discuss!

Will they identify my local roads, which have a green/brown stripe up the middle, as two pavements?
