Memories of 1980's bikes

Found a great video then post it up here. It doesn't have to be about bikes.

Memories of 1980's bikes

Great video
We buy things we don't need

With money we don't have

To impress people we don't even like

Love the haircuts and the fact that ATGATT was still in the dim distant future, thanks for posting

I wheel this out every now and then to remind me how raw biking used to be:

An X7 was my first 'proper' bike (after AP50 and a couple of field bikes), same colour, same spannies as this. I had a few, even proddie raced one for a while. This one I picked up about eight years ago for £700, a steal, people are paying silly money for them now. A bit small for me but makes me grin every time I ride it and actually goes surprisingly well for something so small and simple and (I think :D ) it sounds lovely through the Microns. Doesn't stop very well though :o
