I have a iPhone 5se with quadlock case and 'umbrella' cover. Has worked fine for me since I bought it.
Had to have the battery changed 2 weeks ago though, but other than that, it even survives being on a
690.

Well for what they want to fix the screen I've bought a new Samsung A03 aka A13 and it's fine at moment...

Garmin maybe old and simple but they rarely break....

Has anyone ever looked into Fairphone?
I realise they're still entry-mid level smartphone price and not "rugged" but with a rugged case perhaps. They have fully replaceable parts and a 5 year warranty.
I see that the OS can struggle with high demands of a "daily driver" but for navigation, contacting people, taking some photos could be an option.
