Is Nuclear War inevitable ?

Post by johnnyboxer »

Looking at the current European crisis and Russia have put their nuclear deployment teams on standby

Do you think it will happen?

In your last 10 minutes before being vaporised - how will you spend it?

One last ride …..?

Go on a 'lose weight quickly' diet.
Start a joke where the punch line comes just after 10 minutes,
Invest in that company what makes 'the end is nigh' placards.
Book up, at last, for next week, to extract that really bad molar.
Go skydiving., while watching Countdown quiz.
Climb that mountain,, nothing is unachievable,
Quit my job as the back end of a pantomime horse.
Learn to live for the moment,

Take up a long term relationship,
Vow to commit for life, for once.

If I remember rightly (from ‘protect and survive’ we are supposed to take all our doors off, prop them up against an indoor wall and cover them with bin bags of soil from the garden to create an indoor shelter. We then need to collect enough food and water to last 28 days.
I reckon I can just about get to my local pub in ten minutes, I just have to hope the siren sounds during opening hours.

My misses still has 28 days of supplies following her last covid panic buying, and I’ve got the keys to our local community bar. I’ll be putting all my mates on high alert for one last party.

I'd ride my bike on a restricted byway, and hope I didn't get reported!
