MCE ?

Post by garyboy »

So .. is mce in administration? Have I missed the obvious news?

I ask coz I just took out a new policy for my 250Rally with mce, including breakdown cover and national recovery?

Surely it wouldn't be allowed to advertised? and take my £31 first monthly payment?

Should I cancel? .. how long ago did it go into administration? .. November 21? January 22?

Money Saving Expert says OK, and mce will still pay out? Others are panicking????

There are 2 MCE’s …look at the one you have insurance with, the clue will be in the registered addresses
You want the uk one

If your policy was taken out on or after 9 November 2021:

Any new policies taken out with MCE's brokering arm are underwritten by Sabre Insurance Group and not by the MCE insurance arm. This means you're not affected by the insurance arm going into administration and you'll continue to be covered. In this scenario you can make any policy changes or claims by contacting Sabre. All the details for how to get in contact about a claim or policy change are available on its website.

My no claims is so high it doesn`t matter, quote from Carole Nash just now £104 for yam 900 GT, lost 2 months insurance so not the end of the world.
