Worst thing about this is that women feel unsafe at the charging points. That’s a sad state of affairs 😒

Are you really making fun of a serious social problem? How sad.

Non story, the NC500 and many other parts of the UK have people (men and woman) parked up in remote locations day and night. In fact if the story is to have any credibility a charging point will the safest place as there will be a queue of such vehicles waiting in line with no option to drive off. Fuel stations are probably a bigger risk for car jacking.

I guess if women feel unsafe doing so then maybe we need to think about future positioning/lighting etc

If that were the case I'd agree but the article states "It’s not safe. Especially for women on their own."
It's a broad statement of the writers opinion that it's not safe for anyone. An opinion which was not apparently conducted by researching anyone else's view on the subject. It is a serious subject that deserves better journalism, I'm fussy where I park overnight when travelling, Liz even more so when on her own but are these charging locations and the NC500 locations really that unsafe, or more so than any other location that you may stop on your travels.

The NC500 is great

Everyone should do it, at least once ….every year

Boosts Scottish tourism too
We buy things we don't need

With money we don't have

To impress people we don't even like

Progress is hard. Especially with pr!cks like the sun and mail making a big old fuss about every little thing and belittling it.
And now, Harry, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.

Please note, this story is on a site dedicated to the promotion of electric cars.

It's beyond funny now.
