How to spend a pleasant afternoon.

1) Buy yourself a couple of new motorbikes
2) Make cup of tea and put on radio
3) Spend 4 hours cleaning, polishing, adjusting, checking and generally just staring at the motorbikes

Bloody lovely.

Don't you worry about that. They'll be ridden. The Beta 390RR will be thrown at the scenery tomorrow at Chunky's place. Looking forward to riding it in proper tight woods scenery for the first time. He has some access to the enduro course near Champagne Mouton so it'll be a real test of the new bike.

The MV might go out next week if the current good weather continues. That bike will be a 'garage queen', only for dry sunny days... :D

It's a 2020 with 50 hours on the clock. I 'm not keen on buying brand new, so I got one 18 months old and let the first owner take the initial depreciation hit and saved myself about 2500 Euros, but the bike's almost as good as new and obviously has all the 2020 upgrades I was after, plus some nice extras. Let's see what I make of it tomorrow.
