Post by daveuprite »

I only just saw this sad news. I didn't know she was suffering from cancer. Queen of the Nordschlief.

Sad news indeed, a great driver who could give and take the banter. RiP.

“But Jeremy I can go round the Nurburgring faster in a Transit van that that time”

And she did!

That's so sad...what a woman! And what a role model to girls and young women.

She's gone, with all her wit, grace, beauty, and talent, while certain toxic celebrities seem to go on for ever and ever.

It would be fitting for her funeral if the hearse did a lap of the Nuremberg ring, though I suspect that a voice may be heard from the back shouting “faster, faster.....”

This is the type of news that is both sad, but also inspiring. Every time I hear of an untimely death I look at their life and wonder was it full. Sabine's life was definitely both full and inspirational, if sadly cut short.

A while ago I decided to do the stuff I wanted, if and when I could afford to, as I had spent too long thinking of others and putting things on hold.

A bucket list I suppose, but also self motivation to DO SOMETHING before I pop off.

I've done a few. I'll start a new thread on bucket lists for a bit of fun, this isn't the place.

I can still hear her laugh.....
