Very small things that piss you off but shouldn't really...

Post by daveuprite » Fri May 22, 2020 5:02 pm

New thread? Nothing big and serious, just those maddening minor things that annoy you out of all proportion.

My starter:

The woman dentist (probably an actor) in the Pro-Enamel T.V. advert who says the word 'enamel' about fifteen times.
I want to punch her teeth in.

'Mental health issues'

"I was suffering from mental health issues" when someone is just feeling a bit glum or lazy.

Trying to sort a minor query with the bank, ages on the phone to get a recorded message saying go to our website, that’s just as useless.
This thread could run for a bit.

When people use the term “de-tuned” when a motorcycle engine is used in another model.

ie R1 engine in the FZ1 Fazer.....

It’s RE-TUNED ffs!
