I deep cleaned the house

I painted the clinic

I did many many miles on my turbo trainer and lifted weights

I took my fitness levels back to when I was 20 plus years younger

I read lots

My prebooked scaffolders went into lockdown so .......... I found a builder with his own scaffold and

Repaired and repointed 2 chimney stacks.
Repaired and repainted the render.
Painted the guttering whilst scaffold was up ( nowhere open to buy new).
Removed old render from back of house and had it rerendered.
Turned around french doors so they now open outwards (been wanting to for 20 years) then repainted extension.
Replaced a window complete plus a couple of misted up sealed units.
Replaced 3 fence panels.
Built a large raised flowerbed in the garden for Herladyship  .
Dug out old floor of temporary leanto garage extension ;) .
Pulled my back so had a couple of days off.
Bought a back support.
Mixed and laid 2 tonne of concrete for floor.
Now making temporary leanto garage extension rodent proof for diy workshop plus keeping camping gear etc in (no room in garage ;) .

If I'd had nowt to do for 6 weeks I would have gone nuts plus of course when we can travel there's nowt to stop us ........ apart from no money left for petrol

I drank gin and tonics throughout.

Oh, and on busy days I drank wine too.

It was exhausting that lockdown of 2020. And then there was the bloody headache virus I caught every morning...

When I 'liked' your post, I didn't actually like that you broke your leg, but it was funny....

Get well soon...

Grandad, what did you do during lockdown? ..... well, lad .. I watched your mother bust her guts doing continuous work as distance teachers/counsellors/intermediaries/phone-contacting of parents and kids, evening prep, giving up spare? time and holidays etc etc etc .. and you as a tireless supporter of your dad's business, trying to keep it afloat and prepared for the next idiot announcement .... while I was swanning off on my Ebike and motorbike catching pneumonia? and a sore ass, and sore eyes from tv and the internet of all things ....
