You cant make this up ! We have had trouble believing why golf should be singled out for mention given that it is almost exclusively the 'sport' of people with money... ah.
From BBC news:

Among businesses allowed to open in England are golf courses.

Llanymynech Golf Club, which sits on the border, has 15 holes in Wales and three in England
Llanymynech Golf Club, in Shropshire, sits on the border and has 15 holes in Wales and three in England.

Wales Golf said courses in Wales "must remain closed for now."

But is the 19th in Wales or England? Can you or can you not have a drink? If someone shouts 'heads' as their ball flies from England into Wales, does it hurt when it hits you? What is the sound of one hand clapping? If a tree falls down on the golf course but no-one hears it, does it make a sound?

Good comic potential in all this. Well, there would be if thousands of people hadn't been killed by government incompetence.

Golf is not almost exclusively a sport for people with (plenty of) money. Your prejudices are 40 years out of date.
It is as much a sport for everyone as any other, it just depends on where you want to play and pay or join. Ok, plenty of exclusive and expensive clubs out there but also loads where you can just turn up and play or have inexpensive membership.
Probably a damn sight cheaper than watching Premier League football and gives you far more exercise and fewer pies.
Also easily cheaper than travelling round on motorcycles.
