After all these years of Tory lies, I don’t know why I am surprised or even disappointed by yesterday’s budget. No pay rise for nurses or other key workers, together with cuts to front line NHS services. Anyone remember what the fuck we were clapping for.

By the time you factor in inflation it's a pay cut. Round of applause? And it's on top of a decade of pay freezes and budget cuts across the public sector. Meanwhile Dido Harding spunks 200 billion (yes billion) on what? The least effective CV19 track and trace service imaginable. Round of applause? It seems any neglect and cronyism can be quickly ignored or forgotten with a few minutes of clapping. Pathetic.
It's easy really. The key to getting money out of this government is to be one of their mates. I saw similar nepotism and corruption in Central Africa in the 1980s.
