I always loved the birds on the tree. The animation was so wonderfully crude that they seemed to move even when they were still. And that superb music! Da na na naa... Da na na naaa.... Da na na Na na naaaa..

Well I got a pair of Sealskinz for christmas, from my wonderful wife. First time I've had any, and they will be very needed tomorrow in the streams and deep puddles of Limousin. Looking forward to trying them out.

Youll love em! they work really well, and even if you get water on the inside they act like a wetsuit and you get warm water sloshing around your feet so they don't get cold!!!!

Well, today I bought myself a ROAD satnav :)

.. will pick it up later today. from Argos .. Garmin 3D 5.5" CAR one for £179 voice activated .. Now I will know where I am going if I ever manage to get abroad .. still trying to decide whether I take bike or car .. or just stay home alone ;)

https://www.argos.co.uk/product/9115202 .. .. (pay over 6 months with argos card)

the thinking is I probably won't ride trails abroad, and in this country, UK, I use OS maps .. tho it would be nice to be able to record trails.

Mine seemed to work ok but can be a bit chilly?
I used to wear a thin pair of ankle socks inside for wear (toenails), and a thick pair of long socks outside for wear against the boots. Just don't get into deep water, over boot top deep ;)

Mmmm, that could be a problem tomorrow. Last time out in the forest behind our place, I fell off into a 2 ft deep puddle, and flew over the bars into a stream. I'll report back tomorrow night....
