On my Windows Lumia 640 the original camera went AWOL at one stage and so i went to the Microsoft store and downloaded the Windows app called Camera 1020, which seemed like a good enough camera and was a free download, and then out of the blue the original installed camera on the phone started working again and i've been using it ever since.
Both are good cameras but to be honest i really can't tell the difference in quality between the two.

Couple of shots just taken. First with the original installed camera on my phone and second the downloaded 1020. Can you tell the difference? I think the original is better. ??? Grapes just starting to grow.

I downloaded one around about Christmas time because it was on sale for 99p, usually a fiver. Manual Cam it's called. To be honest, I've not had much use for it because the camera and the AI on the Huawei Mate 20 Pro is just so good, but the app does seem to be very well featured and offers a lot of changeable settings. Worth a try, I would say.

If you have an iPhone try the Hailde app. It means you can adjust all the settings as if a manual camera...
