Totally agree AJ, although the effect is exaggerated a bit with the camera looking over the shoulders of the rider. I still remember the comment some years ago that some of the camera bike riders were as batty as the cyclists on the steep descents when the camera bikes cannot keep up the the cycles!!

The Mont du chat descent featured on the Dauphine race a few months ago. On the TV you could hear the camera bikes scrapping their footpegs

TV cameras weigh about 15Kg :pinch:

Fancy carrying a pillion thats standing up, facing the wrong way, swinging a 15kg lump around, on some of those climbs/descents, for around 200Km :S

And no CE marked gloves on for rider and pilion, a nice 65€ fine each today!!
All those Gendarmes as well, they could make a few €€€ :whistle:
Different rules / laws seem to apply :woohoo:
