How many?

Post by boboneleg »

fingers do you use on your clutch and front brake levers?

I never really thought about it until a mate asked me why I only use two fingers on my levers, I suppose it's because I've nearly always rode trail bikes.

What about you?

I use two fingers
And now, Harry, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.

Two fingers.
I need the other two to hang on for dear life. :)
Don't need to use more than two anyway.

1 finger on each if the clutch is light enough, and I'm not heavy braking, but never no more than 2. Like previously said, the more left to hang on with the better.

Does one have staff to operate one's clutch and brake? How very civilised, if somewhat cramped   Or have I got the wrong end of the stick?

I did buy some Held(?) rubber overgloves for manky weather and they do have individual fingers so don't feel much different.
