Stratford upon Avon is overflowing and grid-locked with people (mostly females) dressed in fluffy, pink, calf-length boots, short skirts and crop tops and they're all out of it or just about to get out of it. And as I type I can hear the reason why.
About a dozen fields away from the ABR office the biggest party in the UK is kicking off with Gods Kitchen in full swing. How I wish I was thirty years younger and had kept those fluffy pink boots. These days, I'm just out of it.
I'll probably have a ride over to the festival site on Sunday morning and survey the carnage. What's everyone else up too?

Have you seen the weather forecast LWR? It's pretty bad for Sunday!

Re:The weekend thread
I own a business in Stratford-upon-Avon I got away early today to avoid the jams (I remember being stuck in Stratford traffic on a previous Global Gathering) - Just got over the Alcester jams at Ragley Hall for the game fair a week or so ago. Hope it doesn't rain though - got a guy coming down looking to buy my KTM 640 Adventure on Sunday - it looks better in the sunshine

Running around after my 13 year-old boy, as usual.

Re:The weekend thread
My weekend started this afternoon after picking up my 10 year old from his football-training-playscheme-thingy. Noooooo cooking tonight as we planned to go out for a curry.
Just back from a delicious meal. My 10 month old swimming in his car seat in pilau rice (I'm not joking...he even had popadoms stuck to his back in the bath!).
Saturday going off to have quick practice session on a 125 (Thank you Mrs Treadtrader).
Evening: off to see a live band involving lots of drink (I hope! I'm still sulking about the hair business!)
Sunday: will bribe my partner to take me out on the bike.
Happy Weekend to you all - whatever the weather!!! :silly: :silly:
