Happy Christmas all you heathens ...

OK, how many of you knew that it's advent today? Go on, Black Friday has taken it over .... Luckily we don't get X-mas advertising here until around now, but when it does begin ... (thumbs) Regs Simon

I hate to say this but the terrible economic turndown here has had some hidden benefits, like a sense of solidarity that is reflected in the massive annual lotteries ...

Last year's add made me cry ...

Simon XXX

PS I should explain that the tickets cost €2,000 each so you buy a 'decimo' (sic) for €20, usually shared among friends at your local café, sports club, etc. The bloke in the film knew that his café had won and despite the fact that for the first time he hadn't bought his decimo his wife insisted he go out for his usual coffee anyway ...

I think that is QUITE enough Christmas stuff please Simon.... far too soon.

As any right thinking blokes know, Christmas starts at 3.30-4pm on Christmas Eve as you come out of the Pub, after a "few" post work drinks, and then remember you need a pressie for the Wife, Mistress, girlfriend whatever...

Thank goodness for Petrol station shops I say....
